Using this site
You may read, print and share this site's content for your own reference. You may not republish it as your own, sell it, or use it to train a commercial model without our written permission.
We try to keep everything here accurate, including the price ranges. They are indicative and not an offer — a binding price only exists in a written quote for your specific scope.
Project terms come from the contract
Nothing on this website forms a contract. Where we work together, the governing documents are the written proposal, scope and contract for that engagement. Those cover:
- Scope and price, fixed in writing before build begins
- Payment schedule, typically staged across the project
- Intellectual property, which transfers to you in full on final payment
- Confidentiality, mutual and surviving the engagement
- Data protection, via a data processing agreement where we handle personal data
- Warranty, covering 30 days of fixes for anything not working as scoped
If anything in a contract conflicts with this page, the contract wins.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee search rankings. No agency honestly can — Google's ranking systems are not under our control. What we commit to is the work described in the scope: the fixes made, the pages built, the structured data implemented, and honest reporting of results.
We do not guarantee that software will be free of defects. We commit to fixing defects in delivered work within the warranty period and to being straightforward about what is a defect and what is a change.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our liability arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss including lost profits or lost data. The specific limits are set out in the project contract.
Third-party links
Where we link to other sites we do so because we think they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Where a client requires it, individual project contracts can instead be governed by Scots law.
