Online marketplace
Itmenaan.pk — a nationwide marketplace for buying and selling across Pakistan
A nationwide platform where anyone in Pakistan can buy and sell products or book local services — with seller-run shops, location-aware search and a bilingual, light-and-dark interface.
Visit itmenaan.pk
Itmenaan.pk sets out to be a single place for Pakistan to trade — not just goods, but services too. In one session a buyer can shop vehicles, electronics, property, mobiles and organic food, then book a salon, a tailor, a mechanic or a Hajj-and-Umrah package, and any seller can open their own shop and list to the whole country. We built the platform end to end: the catalogue, the seller storefronts, the search, and the bilingual, light-and-dark interface that holds it all together.
The problem
Most people in Pakistan buy and sell through a patchwork of Facebook groups, WhatsApp broadcasts and single-category classifieds sites. Products live in one place and local services in another, and a small seller has nowhere to build a presence of their own. The result is no trust, no structure, and no way to search by what you actually want — a category, a city, a price. The brief was to bring products, services and seller shops together under one roof, at national scale, in a way an ordinary shopkeeper could run without any training.
What we built
We designed Itmenaan.pk as three products in one. First, a marketplace catalogue that treats physical goods and bookable services as first-class equals: more than a dozen product categories — vehicles, electronics, property to rent or buy, mobiles, beauty and clothing, furniture, organic food, perfumes, jobs and animals — sit alongside a full services directory covering salons, gyms, travel, tailoring, doctors, home help, event planners, mechanics and repairs. Second, seller shops: any trader can open a shop, list their stock and be surfaced through Featured Shops, so a small business gets a storefront of its own rather than a lost post in a feed. Third, discovery that matches how people actually shop — an all-Pakistan location filter, category-scoped search and a clean, card-based browse. The whole interface is bilingual and ships with both a light and a dark theme, built to stay fast and usable on the mid-range phones most of the country buys on.
What changed
Itmenaan.pk is live at itmenaan.pk as a working national marketplace. Buyers move between products and services in one place; sellers open their own shops and reach the whole country instead of a single city’s classifieds. The catalogue spans more than a dozen goods categories and a dozen service categories, all searchable by category and location, on a responsive, bilingual interface with light and dark modes. It gives ordinary Pakistani sellers a structured, more trustworthy alternative to trading through social-media groups — a foundation the marketplace continues to grow on.
